Miscellany

- last night Phil and I had a coupon for a free appetizer at Jack Astor's.  It made for a great date night!

- Bethany has learned to scoot backwards on her tummy.

The only problem comes when she backs herself into a corner:

 - There are two women who lead Moms & Tots at our church.  On Sunday one of them called me to say that neither of them could come this week, so she asked if I could go early to set up and then clean up.  I felt very "behind the scenes!"  I made (literally) 5 times too much coffee, but I guess it's a rare person who thinks that too much coffee is really a bad thing.  :)

- What do you think the chances are that I can submit our taxes properly the first time this year and not have to re-submit them?  It hasn't happened yet, but I think this year's the one!

- Bethany has developed the wonderful habit of grabbing onto my shoulder or neck when I carry her.  It feels like she's hugging back.  :)

How long do you think we'd have to leave her here before the dishes got washed?

Well, that's all for now.  I'd better eat breakfast, and then it's off to a playdate and the grocery store.
