For My Nephews (and Anyone Else Who's Interested in Construction Equipment)

So they're getting ready to build a new apartment building right behind ours.  Bethany and I went out on the balcony this afternoon to check it out.

This thing (a backhoe?) has already dug a hole deep enough that the dump truck can back right into it to get loaded up.  As soon as one dump truck leaves,
another one takes its place.

Here's the trailer where the construction workers do whatever they do when they're not constructing:
It's right on top of where our parking spot used to be!  Well, not really.
See that orange thing peeking out from behind the tree?  That would be an outhouse.  That is right on top of where our parking spot used to be.  :)  Good thing we got a new spot:

In other news, I tried to take some pictures of Bethany while we were out on the balcony.  They didn't really work out.

Yeah.  No Photographer of the Year award for me.  I think in that fourth one she's chewing on gravel-cement-dirt-grit.  No joke.  I didn't realize until we got inside and she started drooling gray.

We'd had enough of the balcony so we went back inside.

  1. Honey! Awesome blog post! I loved reading it! And I definitely laughed out loud when I read your comment about the "gravel-cement-dirt-grit" that Bethany possibly, perhaps, perchance, just maybe had in her mouth.
