Went to the grocery store. Looked for a turkey. Couldn't find one. Asked. The employee asked a younger employee for a translation of what I had said. She told her. (Accurately. I heard it, and I checked when I got home). The first employee took me to the turkeys. Looked great. Must have been packaged in Germany, because that's what the words on the package looked like. Brought it home. Double-checked the words on the packaging with Google Translate.
I guess we're having goose for Christmas dinner.
Well now I don't think there are any turkeys in the 12 days of Christmas anyways, are there? Geese on the other hand...
