Two weeks ago we headed to Vilnius to pick up my mom at the airport. This was only going to be a 24 hour trip, so I asked Bethany to pick just a couple of toys to bring along.

| Aahhhhhh.... |
Mom came in on Sunday, but we arrived on Saturday so we had time to go to XPlanet. Poor Andrew was too little to climb through all the tubes in the main play area. Do you think he still had fun?
I think so.
While Grandma was here we went to Nida, a little tourist-y town on the Curonian Spit. It was chilly, but we were bound and determined.
(Phil was there too, he was just always behind the camera.)
The trip involved taking a short car ferry, which was kind of neat. Although I don't think Bethany really got it, evidenced by her repeatedly asking, "Where's the boat?" while we were on it.
This was my view in the back seat for part of the drive:
Last Sunday Bethany hurt her wrist and we had to go to the Children's Hospital to get it looked at. Thankfully, nothing was broken or anything, although they did give her this (which I think she kind of liked), to wear for the rest of the day.
By two or three days later she was using it normally again, and all was well. (Although I'd rather not make trips to the Children's Hospital a part of my normal routine.)
Then Grandma's visit came to a close, but around here the fun never stops. On Thursday night Andrew decided to clean out the tupperware cupboard.
So there you have it. An action-packed start to February. (I warned you to get ready for a long one.)
In closing, Bethany has a song (or two) to share.

Phenomenal post, Sweetheart! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of Bethany looking proud of herself to pack her toys in a suitcase. Ouch. How did Bethany hurt her wrist? I'm glad to hear it wasn't broken. Love seeing Bethany happy wearing a sling. Great job singing Bethany! I can't wait to hear you sing more songs when you come to visit Grandmom's house.
ReplyDeleteAndrew looks so proud of himself emptying the Tupperware drawer. And it's cute to see both of them sitting in the drawer together.
