Birthday

Bethany had a great birthday.  First she painted a sign.

Then her friends came over, and she opened gifts.  (With lots of "help" from other small hands).  :)

When the 3-year-old came over, as soon as we opened the door she held out the gift bag and said, "Happy birthday Bethany!  Here's your puzzle!"  Luckily I don't think Bethany was too disappointed about the surprise being ruined.  :)

And then we had cupcakes.

So we had a great time.  Oh, and Phil stopped on his way home from work and picked up real icing sugar, so nobody had to eat the potato starch icing I mentioned in the last post!

    I'm glad that Bethany had a great first birthday! Thank you for posting the video of Bethany eating her cupcake. She's smart to eat the icing first because that's the best part before eating the rest of the cupcake. :)
