A Disjointed Post About Lots of Stuff

I was cleaning up the kitchen.  The kids were playing together awesomely.  Bethany ran into the kitchen and said, "Andrew a little bit stinks" and then ran off again.  Thanks for the update.

In other news, I'm going out with four other women tonight for dinner and to see Hunger Games 3.  Excited!!

The Bell Choir hosted a chamber concert last night.  There were 5 bell ensemble pieces, plus a solo piece by our director, plus about 5 non-bell pieces (piano/violin).  It was great!  Phil and the kids came to watch, and after one of the bell songs I could hear Bethany saying, "Yay!".  :)

I'm cooking a turkey next week for LCC's (basically) American Thanksgiving celebration.

Bethany made peanut butter cookies this afternoon.  While she had help with most of the steps, she did the roll-'em-into-balls part all by herself.  Hence the, um, unique sizing.
Too bad they flattened out so nicely.  It would have been even cuter if they had retained their unique shapes as well.

Judging from the non-sleeping noises coming from Andrew's room, he's not quite on board with my "have a nap and then I'll nurse you right before I have to go" plan.  Good luck tonight, Phil!

  1. I love these blog posts, Jess! And thankfully the kids have actually gone to bed very well, at least for the moment...

  2. Great pictures of all three of you. Andrew looks tiny in whatever you called it I forget.

Maybe next time before you cook the cookies, maybe take a picture of Bethany's unique shape cookies and show it to us?

  3. P.S. How was the Hunger Games 3? I can't wait to watch it when it comes out on dvd. I got to know what happens next.
