A First-Name Basis, Some Pics, and Some Other Stuff

Every once in a while Bethany will say to me, "Hey Jess?"  Mostly I just think it's funny, but I do of course tell her that she should call me Mommy and not Jess.  Then this morning, gesturing to the orange slices beside her cereal bowl, she said, "These yours?"  And I said, "No, they're yours."  Then she says, "Yeah, Jessica no touch my oranges."

Andrew bit into this bread through the package, and the package didn't even tear.  Skillz.

Feeling a little under the weather last week.  Actually, we've all had colds.  But I think we're mostly through it now.  Except for this super-annoying cough I have that's still hanging on.

In other news, some things I'm really excited about right now:
- It's Friday.
- handbells
- Little Bus on the Prairie (This makes our 2-bedroom apartment seem... big.)
- chicken pot pie, chocolate cheesecake, and company for dinner.  (We'll eat the first two, not the third.)
- Downton Abbey
- the handsome guy I get to be with for the rest of our lives.

By the way, Phil's chapel talk was great on Wednesday.  He pulled it off despite having a very scratchy voice (and a shoddy PowerPoint projector).  He had jokes, he called me beautiful, he even whipped out a reference to Game of Thrones.  So hip.

Anyway, that's all for now.  I'm going to go down another mug of honey-lemon-ginger water to try to get rid of this cough.
