Brockville, a Pile of Toys, and an Allergy Test

In the movie Apollo 13, a character is seen with the Beatles album Let it Be on the day of the oxygen tank explosion, April 13, 1970.  In reality, Let it Be was not released until May 9, 1970. 

This was one of 10 mistakes in Apollo 13 mentioned on UCB radio yesterday morning.  Later in the show, they asked people to call in with other movie mistakes, to win tickets to the Laughopolis comedy show in Brockville tonight.  I Googled "movie mistakes" and found that in Ice Age 4, the Easter Bunny is mentioned.  (If it was the Ice Age, there would have been no such thing as Easter yet).  I called, and we're going to Brockville tonight!  Apparently a couple other people called before me, but they didn't actually want the tickets so I got them.  They played part of the conversation on the radio a few minutes later, too.  That was neat.

In other news, lately Bethany has been spending a far bit of time sitting on the floor playing with her toys.  Except eventually she pushes the toys out of her reach.

And then she'll fuss until I go over and pass them back to her.  So I figure if I start her off with a bigger pile of toys, I'll have a bit more time before she manages to push all of them away.

Pants?  Who needs 'em?

She has managed to get from sitting to her tummy a couple of times.  So I guess soon she'll be able to move to her tummy and then reach for the toys she's pushed away. 

In other news, I'm going to KGH for an allergy test today (just to be part of a study; not because I'm actually worried about allergies), and we have to leave soon so I guess I'd better go.
