A Toddler, a BBQ, and Other Stories

When I have a shower, I take Bethany into the bathroom with me so that she won't get into anything.  Surely she can't get into any trouble in a tiny little bathroom, right?

Wrong.  :)  Who took away my baby and replaced her with a toddler?!?

On Wednesday there was a BBQ for all the LCC students and staff.  One of Phil's colleagues took these great pictures and sent them to us.

Yesterday Bethany was practicing "walking."  (I tried rotating it, but it didn't work.  Just tilt your head).  :)

I think she has a ways to go.  :)

This morning, Phil and Bethany are at church, but we're also going to the International Christian Fellowship that I mentioned in another post, this afternoon.  I haven't been feeling great or having a lot of energy lately, so I figured I could only handle one or the other of those today.  So they trekked off without me this morning, and then we'll go downtown together this afternoon for ICF.  I think going forward we might decide to only go to ICF, and not go anywhere in the mornings, but we'll see.

This coming week I'll be working at the library two evenings instead of just one, (although for just one hour each time), I have my first OB appointment since coming here, and Bethany and I are going to a baby shower for a staff member whom we've never even met!  :)  Should be a good week.

  1. It's funny to see Bethany TPing the bathroom. Hopefully Bethany won't TPing somebody's house when she's older. I especially love the second picture of you Phil holding Bethany. What a great smile. Too bad Bethany wasn't looking at the camera and smile too. Cool to see Bethany started to learn how to walk.
