Copenhagen

Our trip to Copenhagen was a success!  Phil's conference went well, and Bethany and I (and Phil in his spare time), had a good time being tourist-y.  Here are some of the happenings.

Giving kisses at the airport.

We found several giant things:

A giant (real!) Christmas tree.

A giant "palace".  (Actually, it's the building that houses the Prime Minister's office and the Supreme Court and things like that).
A giant door (in the giant palace).

Ok, so this isn't so giant as far as grand pianos go, but it's just weird.  Is it supposed to be melting or something?

Bethany and I also went to the zoo.
"Um, I was having a good nap here in my stroller.  Why did you wake me up just because we got to this sign?"

"What is that thing?"

The chimps - Bethany's favourite.  At least judging by the amount of time she spent actually looking at them.  To commemorate, we bought a little stuffed chimp and named him "Denny."  For Denmark, get it?

Lookin' at you, lookin' at me.

Some other kind of ape - my favourite.  At least judging by the number of pictures I took of them.  Well look at them, they're so cute; a little family of three, just like our family.  Here, I'll try to give you a closer look:

I guess this thing is a kangaroo.  We didn't even see him at first, because I was looking for something way bigger.  I guess this must be a different species.

So that was our trip to the zoo, and to Copenhagen.

And now, onto the next thing.  Which would be...Christmas.  In less than a week.  And we don't have Bethany's gift yet.  Ok then.

  1. Thanks for the post, Jess! I think my favourite pics are the ones of the giraffes and especially the "Giving kisses at the airport" one.
