Family 5K

Yesterday was LCC's All Community Day and BBQ.  You may remember last year's BBQ from this post.  The day featured hot dogs, games, face painting, and also a 5K Fun Run/Walk.  Phil and I decided to go in it, and push the stroller.


(I was number 9.)



After a combination of walking, running, and riding, all four of us made it to:

Bethany ran for about the last 30 yards of it, including across the finish line, which was super-cute.  As for Andrew, one of our friends observed after the race, "He looks like he couldn't walk another step!"  Har har.

In unrelated news, Andrew has discovered the art of the screeching, loud, happy squeal.  Oy.

    Aww! Too bad you didn't videotape Bethany finish running across the race line. I would have love to see that. Maybe you can videotape it next year?
