Bethany and I went swimming today. This is the third time I've taken her, but the first two times she was still very much in the "newborn" stage, and I don't think she really knew what was going on. This time she seemed to enjoy it. I even dunked her under a couple of times. She was definitely unsure about that, but she didn't really cry.
The YMCA here in Kingston has a "Leisure Pool" that's nice and shallow and extra warm. I think we might try to go once every week or two.
Here's a photo that I took of Bethany in the change room just after we got out. Not the greatest picture, but I was trying to be fast because I felt super weird having a camera in a change room. :)
Hurray for Bethany! Her first time to have her head dunked under the water! Hopefully she'll turn out to be a water-lover like her Mom (and not like her Dad).
